Too Cool for School

Hi, everyone! I am trying a new method of schooling to allow more time for music; so lets talk about that for a minute. As I’m sure you have noticed, I kinda like music. Because of that, I’m actively pursuing a career in the music industry. With that, obviously, comes responsibility, hard work, and long hours. With all my traveling to and fro- as you can imagine- I miss a lot of school. Which in turn makes me fall behind on school work. For a person like me who isn’t as gifted academically as I am musically, this proved a hard task. I was surrounded by due dates and drowning in stress and my grades began to drop. So we decided to change something; we talked to my principal and came to an understanding. We concluded that I would work from home and turn in assignments electronically.  A home schooling of sorts, but I’m still enrolled to the small, southern, private school that I’ve attended since the second grade. And I wouldn’t have it any other way! This new method allows me to devote more time to you and my passion for music. All of my new found free time will not be taken for granted! And now that I won’t be sitting in a class room seven hours a day, i will have time to exercise my creativity and make new content. This is a positive change, and I cant wait to see what the future holds! xoxo-Peyton <3
